About me

I was born in Massachusetts in 1956, and have been a resident of New Hampshire for over 25 years. I have a Bachelor of Fine Art’s degree from the New Hampshire Institute of Art with a concentration in Painting. I started making assemblages and collages during my years as a student at NHIA. I create assemblages and collages built on my familial environment and upbringing, as well as my personal experiences and observations. In my work I often use kinetics to support the content and add interest to the piece. As an ardent hunter of vintage objects and ephemera, I have collected a vast amount of materials for my work from antique shops, garage sales, and thrift stores. I continue to expand on my work, currently combining collage and moving parts to my art pieces.

I’ve illustrated commercial products and signage, have been commissioned to draw portraits, have artwork in private and public collections, and have illustrated a children’s book for a private collector.
